The larger volume should be ok. Measure the volume of the pipe and compare it to each cylinders capacity...it will be between 20 and 30x the volume.
with 20x being more like motox/road and 30x being gp spec
and post a pic of the pipes, lozza will be able to tell you what it will behave like

Re: KTM 380 - rebuild req'd? Help a 2T n00b.
Cheers for those links hybrid , just what I needed. Thus begins my crash course in 2T operation & servicing. And to answer an earlier question - yeah I can definitely feel the score/gouge marks on the piston. Nevermind feeling it with a fingernail, I can feel it with my fingertip! But it doesn'...

Re: KTM 380 - rebuild req'd? Help a 2T n00b.
by the way, while its apart get your head's squish shaved down to 1.3mm, for unknown reasons the KTM380 has a squish of 2.2mm which hurts the power and making jetting unpredictable. No harm to reliability doing this, just free hp, improved throttle response and easier jetting :) very common mod. you...

Re: KTM 380 - rebuild req'd? Help a 2T n00b.
Just wash the alluminium off with pool acid and if there are still marks on the cylinder you can have it diamond honed for about 75 bucks (diamond hone is what you use for nikasil). If you can afford it, go with a cast piston as they less frequently damage the bore during siezures and have tighter c...

Re: Ignition Coil options for RZ250K ?
Most yam twin cylinder coils from that era should work fine.
Ive got a 1988 yamaha TZR250 coil collecting dust somewhere, you can have it for a 6 pack of beer if you want to try it.

Re: Proper man bikes
you know the guys from powerflow engineering? ask them if they remember their GPZ550 dragbike (D/comp bike) from back in the 80s. I think it was the owners bike. It had massive cams, ported head, massive SS valves, 630cc kit, high comp, big carbs, chromoly chassis. It ran 10.9 1/4s I snapped it up 1...

old news.
They could have made a mint if they kept it simple with the motor and sold DIY kits which put the onus on the DIY builder.

Re: RDLC EBay Brisbane Blue?
Borris the author could only be described as a short sighted fool For someone who looks like a Harley rider, he sure seems to quickly forget which type of rider invented the industry of paying far too much for an old piece of shit with some added chrome handlebars. Heck and Harley's been cashing in ...

Re: RZ500 expansion makers in Australia
Nobody in aus makes model specific expansion chambers.
if you dont want your bike in a workshop for weeks while a custom set is designed and made for you, you should stick with the off the shelf pipes.

Re: KTM 2002 Power Valve Issue
Hey guys. Got an 01 KTM 125sx that I bought as a project. When I got it, it had top end pulled off because of a crack in the cylinder. I found today you can't buy an 01 cylinder anymore and part has been replaced by the 02 cylinder The issue I am having is the power valve gears from the 01 cylinder...

As the title states Ive got a packed of maybe 4 brand new clutch pivot bearings for the RZ/Banshee. (the one that presses into the the top crank case behind the left cylinder). Open to offers for the lot or for 1 if someone needs one. These came from two stroke shop, I beleive they are good quality ...
