NSR250

About to start a NSR 250 MC21 project. Engine is being shipped as I type. Connecting a Ignitech Race as these have gear position sensor already, which should allow mapping in each gear. Have ordered a set of 110mm rods and crank will be going up to graham asap.
Lots of the RS components will fit but I don't think they will be needed.
Look forward to reading what anyone else has done/got up to with their NSR

I just got an MC18 R5K. All I have done so far is the wire splice, rejet upwards and I have a set of Tyga cans I got for the KR1 but are actually for an NSR. I am going to run it at the Creek as it is and then put the cans on and see the difference.

Hi 2T Institute,

Just wondering where you ordered the conrods from?
And who is Graham and how do I contact him?

Cheers, TB.

I get the rods and big end bearings from Japan directly. Check the 'dealers' section. Micheal (mixasilen on many forums) can get the centre bearing/seal 40 Euros

Had enough of NSR World ? :) :) :)

I have got nothing against NSR-World, except that the moderation is unusually strict and they seem to be a bit biased towards HRC/F3 kit.
Any original new development seems to get shut down somehow. Maybe I'm wrong.
But I just thought I should do my bit to keep them honest and give an alternative place to discuss NSR related stuff that "isn't allowed" on NSR-World.

Hence an alternativeNSR forum

That's the truth.
The RS 125 rod from VHM would drop straight into the NSR. I am using a 110mm rod.
I laugh how every second PGM fails but nobody has used a Ignitech and all seem afraid of a programmable ignition

Mekros is moving from Melbournistan so project could get a kick in the guts soon. Conversion will be a doddle
