Seeing most on here have a rather sad and depressing obsession with Yamaha parallel twins, I decided to lift the tone and show off 2 bikes that have been recently liberated from the hands of the original owner. The 250 purchased new from Aprilia Corse in 91(92 model) and a spare bike of Alessandro Gramigni who would go on the win the 125cc title in 92. The 250 was raced by Ricky Rice for 1 season the 125 by Hugh Kerby in 92 and Glen Richards in 93. Thereafter mothballed until now, good news they will see the track again.
the following 4T propaganda was brought to you by your local 2T lobby group...
"whats that youve got there?... a 450? "
yeah...
"what cereal packet did that come out of? "
huh?...
"I just wanted to know, because theres nothing worse than finding a piece of shit in the bottom of your corn flakes. "
ask them if they remember their GPZ550 dragbike (D/comp bike) from back in the 80s.
I think it was the owners bike.
It had massive cams, ported head, massive SS valves, 630cc kit, high comp, big carbs, chromoly chassis.
It ran 10.9 1/4s
I snapped it up 10yrs ago for 1500 bucks but the engine grenaded after 1 season. And then I decided two strokes were my calling!

Only seems to be lots of yamaha discussions cause they're the ones that breakdown and fall apart all the time!
I have an NSR250, RGV250, RS250, GT380 , LB80, PW50, KR250 and H1 two strokes as well so happy to chat about anything other than those god damn yamahas that pollute my back yard!

I'm happy enough to free you of your polution if you like? I won't even charge much for the job!
So, 2T, my IT200 is a mans bike. Thats good to know, thanks.
They are very capable enduro bikes remember my mate had one back in the day and it was great. Shane Watts won a A4DE on a 125 with 4 day old tyres one year.
