What do you mean by seat hook? The brackety thing bolted to the underside of the seat?
I don't have one, but I reckon a wrecker will have a scratty old seat with them on, presumably cheaply.

Yep that's it. Wreckers charge for the seat not the bracket if you know why I mean and for some reason they see RZ and they think money money money.....

I'm planning on going to a wreckers tomorrow afternoon, and another on Saturday, providing number 1 daughters' tummy gets better, what would you go up to for a seat? If I find a scruffy one with decent hooks I could pick one up and pst you the hooks. Thats a bit of an "if" of course, like you say, no guarantee of a cheapie.

Theres an RZ seat on fleabay right now, 20 bucks - only 38 minutes to go, postage not mentioned, Brisbane.
Something like that, ask the seller to post you the brackets only perhaps?
Thinking a little laterally.

Ive done that before with stuff like this and have said 'feel free to ebay the seat without the brackets again' to the seller if i only wanted those. Sellers usually dont mind that.

Did you find one PKay? I may have one in my cache of spares as I have 3 x seats for my RZ (know I don't known why). Will have to have a look but on holiday away from home at the moment so can't check.

Appreciate the thought, I ended up buying a set for an FJ600 from the states that are apparently the same. I hope they fit cause they weren't cheap. Everyone I spoke to wouldn't separate the hooks from the seats and the cheapest of the seats was still more expensive than the FJ600 hooks with posatge from the states. See how it goes as the last set I bought that were "RZ" hooks didn't fit - the holes were not offset and I suspect they were RD hooks. This very boring thread may not be dead yet........
