............this will be winging it's way to me next week.

Hopefully it is as good (rust free) as the pix promise (I didn't ask too many questions - I trusted).

$135 posted :D .

I'm being patiently waiting for a good tank for a while with a project of 'left overs' waiting for a tank to complete. Its been low priority, on the back plate. I really didn't want the project at the mo, I had prioritised other projects like the YDS5 and tarting up the Elsie, but it fell at my feet (I wasn't actively looking for a tank) and it seemed too good to be true.

So all I need now is another $2000 (paints, tyres, etc etc bibs and bobs) and anpther 52 w.e.'s of free time and job done!!!

He wanted $97 postage off me, "probably not worth your while mate". Couldn't work out what his game was. Hope it works out for you.

I just got an email saying the seller has posted it. That a relief - I was dreading a 'sorry mate but the postage is ......"

Now for an inspection of its condition..........

Postage3 $30.50 (how he managed that I have no idea.

I don't think you missed out on too much. That premier covers a multitude of sins  . It will have to be stripped to find out. I'm pretty sure it is full of bog and badly re-shaped.

There are rusted through pin holes.....

Old bog....

And old repairs (to damage in unusual places).

The jury is out :? - it may not be worth repairing. Probably not a good buy - should have keep the money and put towards a $500 tank. Probably would have been better value long term. But we'll wait and see, a better idea will be had after a fuller and closer inspection.

A peek inside doesn't look too bad but I might have to use a vid inspection camera (thanks bro :D ) or cut it open to get a better idea (but there is loose rust rattling about.
