Track day - what do you take with you?
Re: Track day - what do you take with you?
As of this week Eastern Creek now allows the user of on board video recording devices. Probably a good use of technology for improving your riding but it could lead to a problem of wannabe be pilots playing top gun

Yeah I guess that's why they didn't allow it originally. I'm not sure I want anyone to see how bad I am

Also provides handy evidence in the event of a prang - will prove rider culpability and not the track.....

You have no grounds for a claim while on the track, if you don't want your bike or yourself damaged then its best to stay away. They have allowed cameras now because if a few months time they are getting sacked as the sole provider of ride days at Eastern Creek. Not announced yet what will happen then but they are going. http://www.ardc.com.au/articles/General ... OVIDER/208

Oh well.. maybe the camera I bought a while back and have never used can get a run.
If nothing else, the sound should be good.
