Massive Greenslip hikes in NSW for Motorcyclists

Your CTP is going up.
NSW CTP Greenslips change from 1 July and no one bothered to tell us because they thought we wouldn’t notice.
The Motorcycle Council of NSW and Bikers Australia are unaware of the extent of the changes based on my calls to them today.
The new categories are as follows;
100 to 226
226 to 726
726 to 1125
1125 to 1325
1325 and over

Bike Capacity Pre 1 July New Price 1 July Percent increase
250 $252 $465 84%
600 $663 $465 -30%
750 $663 $682 3%
1000 $663 $682 3%
1150 $663 $880 32%
1350 $663 $780 18%

Prices are an average of the top 3 prices gleaned from the MAA Greenslip calculator.

Basically email/write/drop into your local member and the transport minister and advise the following;
You vote and will vote for the person that supports you.
Ask why is this happening
Ask what are they doing about it.
Ask why the split of capacities is so obviously designed to gouge the maximum amount out of Motorcyclists




We all need to stand up to this! Lets get our voices heard and not let this disgraceful NSW government fleece us any more than they already do.

Correct I just got a renewal in the post for the 20 July from QBE for a 1977 RD 250D. Last year $150 this year $460. I got rego on my MVX 250 two months ago $150. Thats with fully comp. Last years R1 rego $350
Well they wont be getting it off me I am going to let it lapse and anything I can is getting historic plates.

Well I just had an email response from my local member asking me to call him.
Just had a 30 min phone call with him explaining the situation and he is going to take it to the minister for comment.

I would encourage all NSW riders to do the same.
