I suss that as a spoof and a wind up but still a frighten prospect for the future.
I'm actually surprised that we haven't seen more robotics on the battlefield down to tactical and field level. Some of this technology has been around 20 years. Joining the dot and marrying up the technologies wouldn't be hard. We currently have drones killing in Afghanistan controlled by operators in California who go home to the suburbs for the family meal and cuddles with the wife (beware glaring euphemism ).
