What you don't trust your baby to make it. You built it yourself didn't you
I once limped my 500 home all the way home from the other side of Tamworth on 3 cylinders trailing a nice hazey cloud.
Anyway 15th of November we'll plan it for, so lets start spreading the word unless anybody got any objections. I've ok the ok on my home front.
Yeah I built it myself. Not concerned about the engine itself - just the fuel injection.
When I took it down to Phillip Island last year, it had an issue where it kept wanting to die after a long time trying to get off the island... it was not fouling up. I never found what the issue was, but I have not seen it again since I dropped the engine to fix the balancer shaft. So its always in the back of my mind now
The bike starts again after a minute or so rest, so I would get home. The other thing I'm not quite sure about yet, is how far I get on a tank of fuel!
How big is the tank on yours? I get roughly 200km to about 16-17 litres on my 500 even with a bit of "heavy throttle action". Have seen 250km on 1 tank once. I recon if you can get 150km out of your tank you'll be ok
Ok no probs. Hopefully we'll have time to do a better one next year.
Also have to send my apologies because I'm not going to be able to make it. All other piss poor excuses aside, its the day after my engagement party, and I'll probably be in no fit state to be riding.

that is a piss poor excuse ;-)
Congrats and have fun...
Lets catch up for a ride when you're sober again... would love to see your bike.
