It may be a little early to claim this but it looks like I have finally had some success with the LC.
As a recap after six months of disaster where a gearbox bearing shit itslef on the way to work then the night mare of the rear wheel bearing tale (where the internal collars were missing and the bearings collapsed as a result during a test ride) I finally got to work today on the bike HOO FLIPPIN RAY!!
It was a lot of fun but getting blown around by the wind was a bugger- the bike probably weighs the same as me...... Geeez it gets up and goes for lil bitty 2 fiddy. Still have an issue with the clutch adjustment as I can't get it to disengage properly and therefore can't get neutral when the engine is running - I can feel the clutch dragging. I think I have the lever under the cover in the wrong spot which means the cable can't get the right tension - so out with the screw driver when I get home. Fortunately there is only about two sets of lights between work and home that I regularly get stuck at. And I have about 2 weeks of my rego left to get six months worth of riding in!!
Anyway that's another LC back on the road!

Re: No more nasty comments about my RD250LC
Thanks Guys
Yes hopefully I can sort the clutch, not really a problem just seems like the cable is too long so I have everything adjusted to the max to get the clutch right. I had another fiddle last night so hopefully that will imporve it a bit. Not going to stop me riding it though.....
