Hi just thought I'd say hello, my passion is with 70s Yamaha gp bikes. Yes TZ350cc steel frames wire wheels and light switch power. I've got a bike and out there having fun. Just need to stop breaking its clutch

G'day Bullarabs, so, what is letting go, clutch-wise on the ol' TZ?

If you want a torquey machine, slot an Kawasaki H2 mill into the TZ chassis.

break the closest friction to gearbox. then fried set of steels. replaced steels with a secondhand set and ripped the teeth off them and killed another friction. ive ordered a new outer basket and new later model frictions and steels

that H2 stuff looks great but the 350cc is plenty enough bike for me.

Looks like a natural for an H2 project Bullarabs, & the Willing bros raced one back in the day..

I'm trying workout this frames engine mounts... it's got some extra mounts added. This frame is number 005 tz350 1979 and strengthened and gusseted, although was common it thr 1979 frames due to cracking problems

Welcome to the forum. I see you have Greg's old TZ350 there two. Good bike.

I have the clutch bearing mod and a couple of Rave Motosport solid Kevlar friction plates to help with the exploding plate issue.
But before the Barry Sheene next year I will be fitting a cush drive to my rear Astrolite wheel.
