Found brand new tacho and speedo to match aswell.
Tacho has the red line from 80kph as per japenese models.

I agree, BRG - park one next to a Norton Commando roadster,
& you can see the similarities in shapes & line, a given since
the LC was styled in Europe by the same team of Brits..
( I'd add though, that IMO, the graphics scheme which has those
large angular parallelogram YRC 'speed blocks' running right
across it - ruins the organic looking 'flow', aesthetics-wise )..
Hope they do the F2 tanks too. If the market prices make it worth tooling up for the offset tanks, then I can't see why they wouldn't also do the '86 onwards also

Arguably the LC was in a class of one when it came out, and the early YPVS's continued that, but by the time the F2/N2 etc came out I reckon it was fading a bit and though better than their predecessors the later bikes probably not as iconic, which may make new tanks less likely...

Interesting point, what did go from Japan to Brazil, and what might still exist.
I had a Brazilian YPVS, fit and finish weren't as good, and some parts had "made in Brazil" and equivalent stamped/cast into them

My RD350R was every bit as good as the F2s a few years prior, Ive never understood why people said they were poor quality. Time had moved on, thats all.
94 I think. I got it late 90's so it wasn't very old when I got it.
It had had a rough life by the time I got it, which could have contributed to the paint flaking off the wheels, maybe to an extent the tank rotting out, but not the really crap fit of basic things like the gearshift linkages, floppy mirrors etc.
Engine itself never gave any trouble, smoked like crazy, ran like crap and needed a rebore or rings by about 30,000 miles (untouched, so it did well), which at the time my mechanical ignorance wasn't up to sorting out.
Sold it to someone who could, and a couple of years later bought a nice 1984 31K which was a quantum leap in fit and finish. THAT bike was one of my all time favourites, regret selling it a while before coming to Australia.

Hmm, I reckon yours suffered at the hands of its previous owners, mine was bought new.
One of our members has one in their garage they bought new in the UK and rode all over, its battered and well used tho all there and one day will be restored I would think. I enjoyed seeing it when I was at his place a year or so back.
