350LC on ebay
350LC on ebay
Bike listed on eBay. Seller claims best unrestored you will find. There is a couple of bits that aren’t original but the cylinders are stamped 4L0 with an 0. Look like they may of been painted. The bike is an 82. Any ideas why they would not be stamped 1?
Re: 350LC on ebay
Is this the bike?

4L0 is the designation for the 350, 4L1 is 250. These should raised characters, not stamped.
It isnt bad for a 75k kms bike or any old LC for that matter, but I suspect its been apart and had a life before, I agree there is a blow over paint job on the cylinders so it has defo been messed with and the hose clamps and other parts are certainly not original.

Re: 350LC on ebay
Yes that’s the one. I said stamped but I meant raised characters. Why would it have a raised 0 instead of 1 as on latter cylinders?
Re: 350LC on ebay
The codes for 350 cyls are 4L0-00 and 4L0-01, 4L1 designation is 250...
Re: 350LC on ebay
There 350 cyclinders the 1 on the cyclinder stamped means it is the later cyclinder with revised exhaust port.
I had one of those early barrels never used it there was no 1 on it.
I have seen relined 250 barrels as a matter of fact Justin had some when we first met.............................

Re: 350LC on ebay
Clearly it has the revised (correct) cylinders. Don’t know how I saw a 0. Better get stronger glasses.
