RD250/400 E, F or G Left Side Engine Cover WANTED

Hi guys,

I am chasing a Left Hand Side engine cover for a RD 250 or 400 E, F or G, Alternator cover would also be a bonus but not essential.

I am unsure if earlier years are compatible, maybe someone here can advise however I thought the shape was slightly different to accommodate the CDI Ignition.

Only late model covers are suitable Ash. Old Gold did have one when I was last there but that was quite a while ago tbh.

The late model covers have a raised section at about the 5 o/c as you look at them from side on to the engine to accomodate the CDI pickup. Early cases don’t have this and thus won’t fit.

I also put it out on Find a part this week and you’re right. Steve has one. He’s put it aside for me and I’ll hopefully get out there in the next week or so.

I am still chasing a LH engine cover for a CDI ignition 250/400 E, F or G engine, the one at Old Gold was damaged.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
