Pete you can do a LOT worse than a Nitron, excellent service and excellent product. Had to hunt around to find a shock for a Armstrong Rotax, got quotes from $1300-2500 to build a race spec hi/low speed comp ride height etc etc etc shock. Got the shock landed here for just on $900, was shipped (last year) the day before good friday and arrived the wednesday after easter.
Prices for the base is 290, comp/rebound/ride height is 425 and hi/low comp is 490 all in GBP with 80GBP shipping.
Give me a ring if you want any more info.

Do you reckon use them or go with Nitron directly, or do you get them ?
Your price at 425 would be a lot better anyway than the ebay guy

Will need a +7 to go to 491cc. The no spacer plate will freak every one out.I would go a Nitron over Ohlins anyday. The Gixxer shock will need work.

The 290GBP for the base is either from Nitron or Sean at The Tuning Works, I'm no mathamatician but $290+80=370 is less than 337+60=397GBP

Ordered a Nitron from Sean at Tuning Works, Top Bloke really helpful.
Not sure how to configure the shock - too many options.
