what do you think of the rz 250 ypvs1986
i have come across a bike in a sad state of affair and was wondering what the general thought is on these bikes

would you restore or modify?

seen some nice modified ones on the forum

I am doing one as a resto and one as a mod... If I was you I would mod it, its generally more fun and easier to get parts, and it will probably be worth more in the end, as I would say that few want a 250 these days...

because the rz has steel liners they are good for guys not wanting to maintain them as much

250's are more common so you can modify it, if it was a 350 with matching numbers restore it (bit more rare)

it also comes down to what price you pay and how banged up it is

i have a rz250r that im modifying when i brought it it was pretty much naked as it had been pushed over while parked and broke the fairing

hi guys i have a pair of 1XG rz 250 barrels,standard bore complete with p/vs, pistons, rings and head ...probably the crank as well...anyone interested.....mike
