What performance from standard 350LC ?
Re: What performance from standard 350LC ?
Aluminium Engineering in Brookvale, a mate of mine used them and the work looked good to me.
Im using a brand new LC loom on mine by the way... no need for the RZ loom from what ive read/seen.

Don't see any problem with the stock lc loom
Re: What performance from standard 350LC ?
Jon, how did you go with the welding on your swingarm and the possible welding of 90 deg elbow on your head outlet, any luck ???
Re: What performance from standard 350LC ?
Swingarm and head both done. Swingarm worked well but the head got slightly warped in the process so will need a skim which is a shame. I did try and face it on glass but its no better and still rocks gently, sigh....

mock up on bike, but then off to powder (back today)

Jon I would have to say I would be taking that head back and trying to ram it down someone's throat. Looks like that had the first yr apprentice do it, and above all the head it's self need not have been welded. Once you skim the head the O ring depth with be all fucked up. If it were me I would be saying 'Not happy Jan"

Re: What performance from standard 350LC ?
I agree, but there isnt much i can do Lozza, its done now. What i will say is that its not massively out, but i can feel its not flat if you know what i mean. I'll try and face it and if it doesnt work then i guess i have to suck it up and buy one of Roger's clever heads, lesson learnt i guess.

LOL. Spoke to a few people in the Banshee world and they reckon its not that far out and that it will probably be ok once its torqued up as these cool heads dont have much to them (they are more of a 'cage' for the domes) and guys tells me they 'move' a bit anyway. So will do that. will let you know how i go. Im less worried than i was now

Decals are real easy mate I hand made mine for my Lc and applied them.
The secret to getting them to sit nicely is to have a spray bottle with washing detergent handy spray the surface well apply sticker and work the bubbles out from the centre to the edges using detergent allows you to slide the sticker around ie if you need to adjust.
Allow plenty of time remember if you fuck up you will have to look at it every time you ride what a pissa.
Give us a call if youre stuck

Im looking forward to meeting up for coffee/pie with the bikes to oggle eachothers work!
Ant, you back home now? Im still keen to pick up those parts that I came to collect when you went up the coast, at some point if youre still keen to move em on.
