If your bike is out of rego just get a blue slip if not then you need a brown slip I think it is and an inspection. Thats what I had to do with one of the trucks a few years back and its a pian in the ass. Personally I wouldnt worry about it.

sounds fair enough to me,it hasnt been registered for years, the more you try and do the right thing the more harder the govt seems to want to make it, cheers

When you get the blue slip they just write down the numbers thats are on the frame and motor at the time and thats it.

just fill in the current engine numbers, and then get some letter and number punches.

will be worth more in the future with matching numbers too :)
the following 4T propaganda was brought to you by your local 2T lobby group...

"whats that youve got there?... a 450? "
yeah...
"what cereal packet did that come out of? "
huh?...
"I just wanted to know, because theres nothing worse than finding a piece of shit in the bottom of your corn flakes. "

For restamping cases. If you had an old shaping machine, you could get away with machining old numbers off, machine in the cast lines & then restamp. Can be done, seen it done.
