Pete, sounds like you have it all nutted out!I like the idea of different plates for RD & RZ,universal.....& mounting for thermo, very cool lol.
Did we end up getting a temp bung for thermo on/off or you could piggy back off the temp sender in head ????

Hmmm, still havent looked at a temp sender solution. Ive done the same as Jon and sourced the cart one which is inline from the head...
Where would be best to locate it you think ??

Top of the rad for a rad temp one i guess, isnt that where rad fan switches are located? Else you could run it from the inline thermo, but right now thats the one i use for engine temp, but for those who have drilled and tapped their heads then they have the temp sender hole free in the thermo... but is that where the rad temp is best measured?

I dont know enough about fan swicthes to be honest... dont even know what sizes the come in, or which ones we would choose to switch say the R6 fan on n off...

Would i like this option with a bolt in it... yep.

Brian's rads are 40% larger than the RZ... 450ml std, so about 650ml. The LC rad is 750... Pete and I were looking at 1000-1100ml. Im sure Brian's is better than a standard RZ, but it wont be enough to properly cool a 421+ engine in Aus I fear. Smads and Chris in the UK found 800ml wasnt enough for Chris' 421 and Smads 500 was defo undercooled... and that was at UK Spring temps, they both have huge rads now.

Each to their own choices I say and its great Brian is offering to do his at reasonable cost for people, but those are RZ rads and Pete and I are looking at LC fitments, with the possibilty of doing a rad with brackets for LC and RZ. Different product cos of that and the size.

Pete must be flat out at work as ive not heard from him, hope he's ok... drop me a line or a call m8 when you see this :)

Ah okee then, just a thought lol.Well I might go one of Brian's RZ rads for the ummm...... stroker RZ.
Unless the change over from the LC to RZ you're talking about Jon,is very doable??Plans??
Still def up for one of these LC rads tho.

Im not sure how doable, Pete and I were part way thru that discussion when things hotted up for him on other things, hopefully we can pick that up later, but the LC/RZ fitments are quite different of course.
