Hi yamfreaks, Well I happen to have a Rd350LC complete engine lying around in my factory, so I picked up a little FZR250 Deltabox frame off ebay really cheap as the engines in these things are gutless and problematic.
So being water cooled and not looking like it will be a difficult conversion, I am going to jam the 350 two bangar in the hole. Here are some pics of the progress with the tooth pulled out. I will keep the pics coming.

Cool, should be a giggle I reckon. Didnt realise the FZR250 was twin front disk, and if those are the same as the 400 brakes, they also fit the post 85 ypvs, if they are the 600 they wont tho.
the following 4T propaganda was brought to you by your local 2T lobby group...
"whats that youve got there?... a 450? "
yeah...
"what cereal packet did that come out of? "
huh?...
"I just wanted to know, because theres nothing worse than finding a piece of shit in the bottom of your corn flakes. "
So I whipped up the engine mounts today so the thing wont fall out. At this stage it all seems to line up. The only hiccup so far is the different chain/ sprocket pitch.
Ken, I sent you two PM`s but I was not sure if you got those, thanking you very much for that item . It is bolted on and the old one is tossed in the parts box. You are a legend mate, thank you again. Macca

glad to help, no messages received, no worries, pretty solid looking welds you have there, keep the pics coming, im not very imaginative so i cant quite picture it yet
Thanks Mboddy, I went to my local bike/sprocket shop today and picked up those sprockets you suggested and you were spot on, they are bolted up. Thanks.
I got to spend a few hours on it today and bolted the crankcases in.

What are your plans for this? are you going to use it on the road or the track. I ask because I am interested to see how you go about registering a hybrid. Nice job your doing too.
It has been previously registered. So when I re-register I will tell them I have had to replace the engine and supply the RD350 engine number. I am not planning on getting any engineer reports, just try to fudge it first.
