Wish I could find that sort of shit in my attic!

That is actually little surprising that it finished at $21k US. There was an RD on fleabay recently that went for $27K aussie with 0KM on it, never started. Cant remember the model though.

That has been advertised before, I would be taking a good look at the contents before I handed over any cash.

ohh I know its a nice desirable model, but 35k would buy you a lot of motorbikes back here...
Yeh it would make you wonder what condition it would be in, even though it has been sitting in a box.

would have had a good dose of assembly lube, but if you were buying it without having the shipping straps cut, I guess you would never know.

best thing you can do if you want to keep something in storage fresh is buy a few large silica gel bags (just like the ones in the tortilla packets but bigger) and put them in the box! will never rust without any moisture present!
the following 4T propaganda was brought to you by your local 2T lobby group...

"whats that youve got there?... a 450? "
yeah...
"what cereal packet did that come out of? "
huh?...
"I just wanted to know, because theres nothing worse than finding a piece of shit in the bottom of your corn flakes. "

 Me too - for all sorts of reasons.

A gigantic waste of money IMO; but then I'm a rider, meddler and restorer  not a collector.

Bloody oath, Ozzy... I'd rather buy something to rebuild and ride than a fucking box!

Yeah, what DuncanB said.
Are we into motorcycles or bloody "antique collectibles"?
It's a bloody ornament.
Rather have something to ride :-)
