Post by stevef »

Not sure why after all these years i have not found this website before. It is great to know there are so many fans of 2 strokes in Australia. Some great info and mostly all aussie content. After having a good look around it seems there are lots of guys from the RZ owners forum on here so they would of already seen my bikes but i will put some pics up anyway.

RZ 500 I bought new in 85 I recently did some mods

Thanks jon

When i did the RGV front and RS 250 swinger that is what most people that were modifying the 500's were doing back then.

I always wanted to make it all yamaha again.

i got a great deal on the marchesini wheels so that got the ball rolling.

Wow, that 500 is one of the best I've ever seen, just needs the RZV frame! (only joking). Looks brilliant, very nice work.

Can I ask what you ended up doing for the speedo? - with no drive off the R6 front end. Love how you've made them look like Ohlins.
