At 2.10 it shows a graphic - the bike is not at 62 degrees, it is at about 45. But the combined lean angle of the rider and the bike is 62. A bit misleading.
I think the theory is that you can't go beyond 45, although they do, by poofteenths.
To go beyond 45 the tyre has got to be drifting or there is suction drawing the tyre towards the surface. I think that is the theory.
I'm not sure what is more remarkable - the physics or the concentration or the physical fitness/prowess.
MotoGP lean angles.

Re: MotoGP lean angles.
A dramatic shot but I wouldn't draw any conclusion form it. It doesn't show the 'lie of the land' and the overall relationship to conclude the actual lean angle.
Re: MotoGP lean angles.
yeah the angle of the shot is deceiving.
still its massive lean!

the following 4T propaganda was brought to you by your local 2T lobby group...
"whats that youve got there?... a 450? "
yeah...
"what cereal packet did that come out of? "
huh?...
"I just wanted to know, because theres nothing worse than finding a piece of shit in the bottom of your corn flakes. "
