G'day Everbody
Just announcing my arrival to the forum I have just completed a 2yr+ resto
of my 81 RD350 LC named Elsie yes I know not very original but there ain't many of them here in the Cairns area. I also have a slightly sad 87 RZ250 R awaiting my attention which I purchased for $200 and is a runner with 22k on the clock.
Also have 2 rego'ed diesels a trick 80 Suzuki GS1000s with RGV wheels and an 09 Yam FZ6S, in the shed in bits = RD250 LC doner, spare RD350 LC engine, 78 Yam SR500, 81 Yam SR500, and an 85 Yam SRX600 these date from days when I thought big singles were good (don't know what I was thinking at the time) Back when I was a bit younger I had a 65 Yam YDS3
So you might say I'm a bit of a Yam nutter and if I can blow my own trumpet
there's not a lot I don't know about LC's I now have to get up to speed with RZ's

Hi Greg, welcome mate may pick your braind on the rd knowledge bank in the near future. I'm also embarking on the RZ rebuild , a 1984 model so look forward to swapping learning a along the way.

don't want to sell that 350LC motor and/or the 250 donor bike do you? ;-)
Sounds like you're the other way around to me, I managed to get an RZ "rolling resto", and now I'm hunting for an LC to go with it!
RZ's are great, especially at $200! Good work.
