Hi guys
Just joined.
Doing research as I am wanting to buy a RGV .
I have ridden a few but it will be my first purchase.
I am in WA so amount coming up for sale are limited.
What is a major thing to be looking for with them? I dont mind if not original, more reliable than anything.

Power valves are a constant issue as is the bottom mount on the frame. Lift the PV covers, with some long nose pliers see if you can feel movement(in the PV that is) check if the owner looks nevous. Bottom mount should be easy to see.

ask if its been maintained as per suzukis maintenance schedule, if they say they dont know or dont have receipts Id bargain them down so you can afford to service it once you've bought it.

Well I did get one , and managed to get to a price I was happy with ( starts first kick too )
Now looking for a good place for servicing.
I will try not to bombared you all with too many newbie questions.

Just had the bike serviced and looks like I got lucky
My bike has been a racer and has a few extras that I dindt know about.
Graeme Sigley built the motor amongst other things.
Now I just need to learn to ride it ......................
I dont mind being daked, but wedgies hurt
