Go the Marsbar !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! cant keep my eyes off it.

I will retain the Lc drum brake so im looking at the standard one,I dont really see any benefits of going rear disc the rear drum is more than enough.

Also If i change the rear then Im poked with the front R1 caliper brackets as they dont fit Rz wheels.

Sweet - I think ill stay with a standard one too for the ol girl, as the last ride I had I as pretty happy with the drum.

In fact I was pleasantly surprised how well it went but wasnt happy with the front brakes, so the blue spots should fix that. I might just go a bit wild for the spare bike.

I'll shoot em an enquiry now and see what they will do re delivery on 2 units.

Talking about brakes go to team mad dog forum someones selling braided lines for $30 bucks each, think I will get 2 sets.

Luckily I got nearly brand new stainless braided lines included when i bought the blue spots but $30 is great price...

This bike was seen at the Island Classic in January so its Aussie.

A fair bit of conjecture about how good it would handle, how the pipes would go, whether the lights mean it could be registered, are they dirt bike forks etc, but I dont care, i reckon its one of the best done out there and would love to know more myself if anyone knows anymore.

It's damn good whatever. Its meant to be a 'show bike' or a styling exercise and it works. Very original, very clean.

Turning it into a street bike would take some thought. I love the tail. Maybe a BMW type spray guard over the rear wheel and a side mounted plate/lite.

I'm still undecided about the front head light. And who cares if the pipes make power or not - they look right.

I can't see why the handling would be considered dodgy, but as a show bike who cares.

I might be a stirry old bastard but I would love to turn up to a bike show with $100,000 ten to the dozen and exhibit this RD. I bet it would turn heads and get comments .

If it could be turned into a Old Gosford Road cruiser so much the better.

Yeah, probably. Maybe two sets of pipes - one for displays/shows the other for the Old Road

And I would lose the red bits... other than that, its very nice!

I love 'em - just the right balance between clean classic All Black and Chrome and a few contrasting high lights - looks like there might be a red with white pin stripe over the tank as well .

Problem with that is with conversion to A$ it will come in to Aus over $1000 so could get hit with Duty n Tax...

Wonder if they would mark it at lesser cost ??

OK, so im starting to get the bits together to transform the Ol Girl, and now I need to decide on new paint job, so I thought Id see if anyone wanted to post any pics of their fav rides or ones they reckon would be cool to do !!!

I originally thought about keeping it original and have got both the Red and Blue 2 stripe Decals ready, but after looking I really like the look of some other colour schemes, so Ill start with a few ive seen that are schmick !

anyone have any info on the clutch mod on the white and blue bike???
