I went to a motorcycle swap meet not far from me on the weekend and picked up a little RD250F as a project. The bike needs a lot of work and the guy was one of those people who strips a bike to pieces, puts it all in boxes, then jams in in a damp corner of his shed for the next 12 years!
I am hoping that these are not too unpopular as a bike as I would like to be able to sell it & get some money back from it when finished.
You dont stop riding when you get old, you get old when you stop riding:)
Jon, I dropped the stuff off this morning and said to the guy will next week be pick up? He said, yeh mate give me a call on Tuesday, then I get a call this arvo saying come and pick it up... I gotta say I love it when that sort of stuff happens

It'll be finished in a couple of weeks... Makes me feel like a right slacker!!
Where was the swap meet? I need to get out and about looking for LC bits to hoard.

The swap meeting was on at the grounds of the Australian Motorcycle museum, Haighslea. It is a good swap maily because there is NO car stuff just purely motorcycles. The next one is set down for Sunday 13th of April.

It'll be worth the trip to check out the museum... Cheers.
