The thing is I should really keep the 250 top end as a spare for my race bike. The 350 cylinders are ported - in fact I might even have two sets.

I'll let you know Doc

Value depends on so many factors... bore, condition, porting or not, quality of porting if it has it, what else is in the deal ie head, pistons etc...

Didnt last long, Any LC for 500 in Sydney isnt going to be on ebay for very long. While it seems the guys in other states / cities can get cheap deals, Sydney is a micro climate where stuff sells faster and for more money it seems. Lets hope the buyer joins the forum and lets us know his/her plans :)

As much as you can tell from the photos it looks very OEM but it does look great (split/perished carb rubbers for one). Sat for 30 years - not guaranteed to run.

Is this the market, a foolish buyer, shrill bidding or lucky seller?
I kept an eye on this one for a while but let it go at 7k, I was budgeting in at least another grand or so to get it running, maybe a top end rebuild, chain, sprockets, tires etc etc, then another grand for rego and insurance, also thinking I could import a 4LO model from the UK for less money

Never mind, keep looking ;)
