Who wants to do the Oxley hwy
This year anyone?
Re: Who wants to do the Oxley hwy
I really will have to get my finger out and rego the beast won't I
.
I reckon the Oxley would be beyond great on the LC - XTC
.
Whatcha reckon; trailer them up, camp over at that 'bike friendly' pub at the Wauchope end, breaky/lunch at the half way house
. Sounds good - even if it pisses rain
.
Whatcha reckon; capture it on a couple of cameras, put it on DVD's and flog it to those poor freezing house bound
Poms.
Set a date; Sept?

Re: Who wants to do the Oxley hwy
if you do it i left an 85 rz250/ 350 barrels on it about 1 k south of gingers and about 100 feet down. happened in 1988 and was still there in oct 2009. not much was of any use, however i did get the carbs off it and speedo nest. both wheels totalled, engine had a massive hole in the rhs and frame was not meant to take that fall. took 1-1/2hour to climb upto the road in agony.
Thanks to the paras who took me to Port for personal repairs than the bloke who drove me home(then) to Tamworth.
