Two strokes at Classic Jap bike show today

Post by Richie_rich »

Checked out a classic Jap bike show in Melbourne today. Not that many two strokes, but took a couple of pics of a few that I thought I'd share:

Nicely executed JPS themed X7

Mint (& bloody nice!) GT550

Complete and original KR in need of a bloody good clean! but a bike you don't see very often (would've loved to have chatted to the owner)

Very tidy LC, I could've taken this little lovely home - such beautiful lines!

Any of the owners on this forum??

Hi mate, was there at about 10am, left around 11:30 or so. What did you reckon? Wide variety of bikes on display that's for sure, though thought they'd be a little more on show.

Did you ride a two stroke there? (I took one of my diesels....)

Cheers, Richard

I thought it was quite good, have a mate who is a member. Quite a variety of bikes, very few show ponies, and some interesting engineering. I reckon the next one will be bigger. Some of the bikes I saw there I also saw at the island classic this year.

I rode my adventure bike there.

Thanks, Richard, there was an almost identical one there too. I had to bring it up there there in the van, because I had all the audio visual gear for letting the kids pretend to ride a motoGP bike. Kids loved it and Williamstown prez Sandy asked me to do the same at their 'Bikes on the Bay' in two weeks.
