ebay item: 141239754380
Fairly good prospect 350LC, but the continual bidding by "1***x" makes me somewhat suspicious. Who would keep dabbing a bit more and a bit more and a bit more on top every few hours when there's so long to run?
What sharp practices and little tactics have you guys come across?

Had a closer look, nice neat bids of $100, 100, 100 and hen 50, 50, 50 etc.
Shame if dodgy, someone could make something of that bike.

Tricks,
You know you have been bid against by the seller if you get a second chance offer on used goods after the auction closes.
Best to bid the most you will pay in the last 5 seconds of the auction.

Second chance offer is often a scam too, so be careful.

Mr Grease, agreed, and that is my usual strategy, though I often put a low "placeholder" bid on very early, just to put the item in my "bidding" folder.
Reckon I should just get a sniping software.

Snipping, anyone tried it, does it work or does it download and install 5 other program's to your computer and take over your home page, things that you never asked for or wanted?

I use Auction Sniper. PM me and I might refer you for a few free snipes.
I've never noticed any unwanted intrusions, but then I'm using a Mac
