strong shed rafters and some ratchet straps is all I need to make my bikes levitate haha
the following 4T propaganda was brought to you by your local 2T lobby group...
"whats that youve got there?... a 450? "
yeah...
"what cereal packet did that come out of? "
huh?...
"I just wanted to know, because theres nothing worse than finding a piece of shit in the bottom of your corn flakes. "

Ex UK, now in Adelaide. LC250/350. DT175. Shed full of sh1t in the vague form of dismantled rusty RD’s and RZ’s.

Beats the shit out of the plastic tubs I keep mine in. Having said that, when I go to a Vinduro, I take every tool I can think of in order to make the Old Bike Gods think of new and creative ways to fcuk me up.
Last tame at Three Bridges, it was the retaining ring that holds the rear wheel bearing in on the brake side.
We popped the wheel out on the stand I took, removed the broken bits, decided that the ring was to stop the bearing falling out and that if we were careful that wouldn't happen anyway refitted it and did one lap becuase of no traction. Took 2 hours.
Guys with traction took about 15 minutes...

That's a new word "vinduro" so I googled a web forum, found out there is a whole community of vindurofiles out there.

oh, we are many. Very casual scene though, everyone helps everyone else out and if some poor bugger cant get their bike to start, it is like moths to a flame.
There was a feature in ADB in December last year. First time I have ever had a bike in a feature in ADB. Admittedly it was a wide group shot and the guest bike was a 4 pixel blue spot, I could make it out.

Looking good. Like the ute box under the bunnings bench. I'd swear the buggers are charging 199 over here for those. Have you got the bikes that go with those tanks? Lessavvalook!

Yeah, they are $199 here too but the tin peg board on this one had a slight dent that was sorted with a chisel & hammer & the front lip guard for the MDF bench top wouldn't screw down, longer screws will sort that later.
The fit of the Ute box was a bonus, 1500x500 and the height is just enough for the lid to open - woot woot!
The RD tank is a spare, it has rattles inside, insert worry here, that's the one Miguel sent over from Japan for me.
The red one belongs to an import diesel NT650 'BROS'
The FZR one has an RZ350 motor standing by for it, blame stankflapper for that one.
