I guess if you think its warm here youve never been to Sydney in winter? Its 13.5degC today, and defo colder over night... no central heating and houses made of swiss cheese (ie full o holes). Im feeling the cold here today for sure...

I'll grant you that keeping Australian houses suitably warm seems to be a practical issue. 13 degrees though, not bad compared to frozen roads and occasional burst pipes of the UK. I guess I'm new enough around here to be counting these blessings

What? It was a cool 18 degrees yesterday and a bloody cold 4 degrees last night. Now maybe back in Yorkshire that would have been acceptable, but now I'm a Queenslander it's fucking cold!!
