An Interesting RZ500

Nice work, although I think I dislike the paint work - I'm not certain. Would probably have to see it in the flesh. It looks a wishy washy red to me

I think the bodywork is nice, but I agree it would look so much better with a different paint job.

I like the fact it still has the original frame (albeit a tad modified) and tank, gives it a touch of what it was/is.

CBR600F for the front fairing? No seam between upper and mid section?

The ebay one looks different 'between the eyes' but the general and the side vent looks right.

Looks hot. Defo an MK II RS250 tail. Looks like it has/had a number plate??

I'd have it. Obviously hard to say without viewing but any thoughts on the price?

Although I'm not enthralled with the colour and some of the details I think it is a $10,000 show pony. But at $10,000 I would want it to be good mechanically as well and other than being a "killer" not much is known - I would check carefully.

It is not featured but looks to have trick pipes on it so there might be other goodies.

But no indicators and no mirrors. I would prefer rego'd but check carefully. It could be an overseas bikes and overseas photo and a scam (I have a bad feeling about the second photo - cars on wrong side of street, scoot 'no helmet' and background) .

Redouble that warning of a scam. Out of curiosity I went back to the ad and hit google maps for Darce W.A. and went street view. Darce is new and modern residential and nothing like the background of that photo. My gut feeling is suburban Brazil/Spain and scam.

Well spotted.

Also check the sticker on the front fairing.

"Quality Service Moto" is what it looks like it says along with possibly "Katzileris". I reckon those photos were taken in Greece.

Did some more digging.
Check this thread out. One of the deleted pics was a much better pic that google had cached.

See if this link works:

Then you can see it in the background of this pic from the 500 thread:

Definitely at least USED to be in Greece.

I have reported the gumtree ad as a scam.

Anyone who is serious should talk to Petros (find him on the forum linked above) he's in Greece and will know the owner if its still in Greece or the story at least.
