New Tires for RZ?

Post by Lowflying »

Need new ones. Tried searching the topic to no avail.

What's available in the appropriate size here in Sydney?

I second what Pat said, but Pete Gailey jus got Avons that he liked from what i read. Now I used to live round the corner from where Avons are made and reckon every one I ever had was junk, Im more of a B'stone guy i think, but Pete seemed to like his so mentioning it.

Thanks Jonno.

I guess these size restrictions keep us from accessing all the latest tech tires, but I'm sure the basic BT45 is light years ahead of what was available back when these bikes were the latest thing.

Ride one on new BT45's and its fine, makes a big diff.
These bikes are 30 years old, they weren't designed for the latest tech, and all the better for it.
Ex UK, now in Adelaide. LC250/350. DT175. Shed full of sh1t in the vague form of dismantled rusty RD’s and RZ’s.
