Exactly what evidence do you require?
You've now got 4 people who have used them saying they are worth the money, plus one who hasn't used one who doesn't think it's worth it.

My LC doesn't get used much. Do you want to borrow mine to see how it goes before you buy one?
From memory (it's been a while) the only mods you need to your original wiring is to break the trigger to your original CDI, which can be easily joined back to stock with a plug or some solder and heat shrink.

You could even set one of the curves to be the stock flat curve and switch between them to feel the difference.

Outside of that, I'm not sure what you want as evidence for a street bike. Numbers on a dyno don't really matter if it doesn't feel better to ride.

I'm not taking any sides here but I would imagine fitting a 31K CDI to an LC would probably yield similar gains for less $$ and no faffing around.

Tinkerers and others are looking for the max out of a bike on a dyno that in the real world of riding many wouldn't even notice, but it is an individuals choice. Like polishers or riders.

My LC race bike runs an Electrexworld ignition only system and I've been very happy with it, probably slightly more expensive than a Zeel but no programming required.

And just as an aside I wouldn't recommend running LC cranks beyond 10,000 regularly unless you are prepared to have them rebuilt every few thousand km.

That's just it though. The zeel (at least on my bike) makes the biggest difference in midrange where the average joe will feel it most.

You could be right that the RZ CDI might also be a good swap. Have never heard anyone that's done it.

I heard it was a worthy upgrade - but its finding one. Like hens teeth.
I have one off the resto RZ that I may borrow & try back to back tests on the LC against the original CDI to see if there is a noticeable difference.

I'm not knocking these Zeel or ignitech products but for me I don't see the need yet, if at all.

Out on the track, unless you are A grade, you WILL make up more time and improve your riding skills with a better suspension set up and learning to maximise what you have.
Until you can do this having more power only encourages you to brake earlier and join the point and squirt brigade so may as well buy a diesel

There was an Ignitech with the hand held programmer in a job lot of stuff I got last weekend. So I will have to give it a try on something.

You will probably need to slot the backing plate so you can set the static timing the same as the RZ if you do try the new CDI.

There are a lot of aftermarket slotted backing plates available for Banshees that should fit.
