RD & RZ Pipes. Differences?

Post by Greasemeup »

Anybody know if the RD and RZ pipes have different flanges, will one bolt to the other cylinders?

Anyone got a set for an RZ350? Brisbane.

I'm 99% certain all - LC's, cigar RZ and 'can' RZ - are a bolt up fit  . I've put RZ 'cans' on an LC motor and chassis (a great pipe ;) ).

There maybe a minor difference at the rear mount but it is easily modded.

Thanks guys, I will just have to find an RD parts book now.. :)

The RZ one says part 1 which is just the "header" without the "can" is part #

51L-14710-00

The assembly including the can is part #

51L-14?20-00 (my copy is missing some detail)

They have different part #'s but otherwise they fit (as far as I know). If there are internal differences I'm not certain but they each work fine vickie verka.

Hiya
I had a look at them and compared them to my 1986 RZ250, they don't seem right and the cans are a lot smaller so I wont run the risk of selling you a dud. Sorry to be a pain
