Re: Back on the road
And the grey cylinder block - it actually has RZ forks on it, I'm tempted to put a second disk on the front but I'll see how much I scare myself first
Re: Back on the road
And it looks prettier now because I polished the wheels when they were off for the new tyres.
Re: Back on the road
Thanks for the compliments - she was a right royal shit box when I bought it so nice to be able to plan to engine it.
Re: Back on the road
I nearly said it had RZ forks on it, but I couldnt be sure when I was looking at the small resolution pic.
The cyls do need some paint and yes a 2nd brake disk would be better

Re: Back on the road
Nice bike

Ex UK, now in Adelaide. LC250/350. DT175. Shed full of sh1t in the vague form of dismantled rusty RD’s and RZ’s.
Re: Back on the road
Jon, if you can pick them as RZ forks, other than been black, then you are a better then me Gunda Din
.
I've got RZ on my LC as well PK. You can barely pick the difference looking at the bike but the ride is like chalk and cheese.

Not that under sprung under dampened whimpy 32's ever slowed them down any 'back in the day'.
Although on second thoughts Allan Carter probably wished for a little more frame/suspension integrity

Re: Back on the road
You should ease up on the greens then Jon.
As we're in anorak time, nice 31K mudguard to go with the 31K forks ;-)

Re: Back on the road
LOL and also the debatable 'correct' front guard decal...

Re: Back on the road
It fits, it works.
