Rz500 mids & lowers will fit the 250 upper to .
500 & 250 are the same even the 250 upper has the 47x markings on them

Round headlight is later Peet, 87ish. In fact the only rectangular headlight RZ250/350 in aus was the 85 i believe, after that they went back to round.

Oh and the top faring defo fits the smaller bikes tho and there are two models of upper fairing on the UK/EU/etc rectangular light style, they have different screens...

Personally im a rectangular headlight fan.... LOL

I always thought the middle and lowers were different on the smaller bikes to the 500, but i may be wrong there...

Anyway, love the project Alex and youre so right, if you just do a little bit each day you soon move forward and you have time to get parts in, and think things through properly.

I love the new front and rear ends by the way, should handle very well indeed!

haha, well some bikes just look right to our own aesthetic tastes i guess.

Interesting the 250/350 fairing fit, thats a huge bonus when building a 500 i reckon, tho even the smaller RZ fairing parts are getting much harder to find now, i rekcon ive seen more 500 fairing panels the past year than the others in fact. bizarre but true.

Well yes, upgrades are like a virus, it just grabs hold of you and you cant stop... i know this only too well... well my brain doesnt really, but my wallet does!

keep up the good work m8! we need more pics! :)

Seen the same lots of parts around
Lots of New parts on evilbay to for Rz500
& rg stuff piping up to
Think people are unloadig excess stuff & putting that in to there pocket or into parts needed & not filling up the shed of unused parts
Been letting go of some hordes parts my self
Rather see more 2st on the road that r6 etc

I reckon youre right Peet, Ive been doing the same. Sold off a bunch of great old bike stuff the past 6months and chucked the cash at my 2Ts, and seems a lot of guys are doing the same, Alex included! Means our bikes will get built sooner and other bikes can move forward, a win win :)

Top stuff ALex, I really like the look of it, in fact Id go close to saying its looks pretty darn cool as is without the belly pan fairing ? Is it sitting higher too ?

I left the pegs where they were
I just seem to sit nto the bike like a old glove

Have u put in a ride hight adjuster or moved you front shock mouting point .
They do look higher with 17inc wheels
I moved shock mount but would like a adjuster to fine tune it later.
Seen them at killer prices but havent come up with how to make 1 yet.
Got any ideas for 1
