Yammy RZ250

Post by Stankflapper »

So I have managed to pic myself up another basket case half done project that this guy had pulled apart then started to restore , then lost interest.
Its a RZ250 but he had ambitions to make it a 350 so he got the paint all done decal-ed up with 350 logos on them.

Would love to find a basket case like this. Last bike I bought was a DT175 and it sounds like the bore is 4 oversizes too big for the piston.

It does start though and it is 2t.

Shit, what kind of baskets do they have in your neighbourhood?!?

I bet "hard waste day" is a riot!

So whats left to do? Mostly just the motor?

Looks like a bloody good head start to me!

Well I got the bolts back from the Zinc plater, stripped the box and replaced all the seals and some bearings. I have aquired some RZ350 barrels so now its onward and forward with building the Kenny Roberts!

I'm jealous.
Is that yellow a bit paler than usual or just the pics?
