Parts sourcing during motorcycle resto

Post by Stankflapper »

I have rebuilt many bikes over the years and all different types. 90% Japanese then some Italian stuff mainly Ducati, now I have to say that of all the bike I have tooled around with, by FAR Kawasaki would have to be the hardest bike to get NOS or obsolete parts for by a long stretch!

Its always a waiting game, not just finding parts but also for them to arrive... can take weeks :/

part of the lack of kawaka parts is because they sold so few of them compared to other japanese makes.Original purchase price was always more as well
