I have seen those guys around a bit and they have passed my house a few times all diesels. Its good to hear all those bikes but they just piss around the city I think so not really 2T friendly behaviour.

I think that many bikes are also bound to draw unwanted attention from our blue clad friends.

Last lot of parts for the RZV should trickle in by the end of this week. Found an engineer to inspect the bike who sounds reasonable. Can't wait! Should be ready to roll by the end of the month.

Yes I believe that Ant, I often see a gaggle of bike on Pennant Hills Rd heading north on some summer eves, its probably a Thurs. There were a bunch of them filling the fuel station.

Where you thinking Markus?

For day runs the usual suspects are;

Putty Road
Bells Line of Road
- return via Central Mangrove and then the old Highway?
Along the coast via the National Park towards Wollongong then up Macquarie Pass and home via Kangaroo Valey, then Mittagong and home via freeway.

What do you think? You have much more recent riding experience than me by the sound of things.

I would love to do a two or three day ride which includes the Oxley Highway between Walcha and Wauchope at least twice . Haven't been there for ages, so I'm not sure what the road surface is like these days. It was awesome last time I was there (long long time ago). This would be something for the warmer time of the year though. November onwards.

Ok... I'm pretty much ready to for a ride. Had a couple of sorting rides and its behaving quite well so far.

For those who don't already know, don't buy the cheap carb kits on ebay from Japan. The gaskets are rubbish. My carbs have been leaking since I fitted them.

Waiting for better ones to arrive next week.

So who's up for a ride next Saturday the 22nd (weather permitting)? I can do a half day ride either morning or afternoon.
